Sidekick Vise
A vise that bolts to the side of your Fireball table. The top sits flush, so the table becomes your backstop. Clamp parts for grinding and sanding and keep the tabletop free for welding.
See it work
Mount it, pin it, clamp it, grind it. One vise on the side of the table.
- Mounts on the table sidewall
- Clamps plate, tube and small parts
- Frees the tabletop for welding
Pick the one that fits
Measure your table's sidewall. That picks the vise.

Flush with the table
The jaws line up with the tabletop. Use the table as part of the backstop.
- Clamps very large parts
- Low-profile lip keeps the top clear
- Weld and grind on the same table

Works with your fixtures
Use 3/4" system fixtures on the jaws, or run the vise on its own.
- 3/4" pin holes and 3/4"-10 tapped holes
- Takes fence blocks and stops
- Can't mount in table corners (ribs and leg pads)
Fit and install
Pick your table. Each one mounts a little differently.

Dragon Wagon tables
The vise bolts to the 4" sidewall. If you run slag trays, there's one extra step.
- Main slag tray: lower it with the included spacers and longer bolts
- Smaller slag tray kit: remove it. It won't clear the vise
- No slag tray? Skip the spacers

Standard and Heavy Duty tables
Bolts straight to the sidewall. No spacers, no trays to move.
- Connector bolts go through the sidewall holes
- Top sits flush with the tabletop
- Not in the corners. Ribs and leg pads are in the way
Pro Table Kit (DIY) tables
These tables need the spacer block. Weld it to the table frame, then bolt the vise to it.
- Short bolts for the vise come with the block
- Milled relief on top clears your tooling
- Also mounts to workbenches and machines
- Spacer block fits FA75-SDV400 only. Not the FA75-SDV210

Quick answers
Which version fits my table?
Measure the sidewall. 4" is a Dragon Wagon: get the FA75-SDV400. 6" or 8" is a Standard or Heavy Duty: get the FA75-SDV800. The Wide Body FA75-SDV210 fits both. Pro Table Kits need the FA75-SDV400 and a spacer block. See Fit and install.
Why does the Wide Body have a rod handle?
Its body is shallow. A handwheel would stick up past the tabletop, so it uses a rod handle instead.
Can I use it with my 3/4" fixtures?
Yes. The jaws have 3/4" pin holes and 3/4"-10 tapped holes. Use fixtures on it or run it on its own.
