The Twin Pin Plier features a base that allows the clamp to be used in two different orientations.
It can be used as a traditional clamp in the 90 degree position, or tilted forward.
When tilted forward, the clamp can pull in, or the stud can act as the second arm of a traditional pair of pliers. When tilted forward the plier also takes up less horizontal space which is useful for fixturing in tight spaces.
